Great article! I liked the thought experiment as it was an easy to follow and understand analogy.

It got me thinking that there are other ways to add ‘noise' such as applying popular image filters for water ripple effect, or rain or glass etc. That way it could compensate for the images of a camera next to a window inside a house but looking out.
