It may be worth pointing out that `kind` stands for 'Kubernetes in Docker' and one of many such tools for local Kubernetes deployments.

I personally don’t like it as it has a dependency on `docker` and prefer some of the other lightweight implementations such as microk8s and/or k3s or even k0s.
